In compliance with the provisions of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals (the Law), which aims to protect the personal information provided by each person (the Information), Ancila Tours, S.A. de C.V. (hereinafter, "Ancila Tours") provides you with the following Privacy Notice.

PERSONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED

Ancila Tours will request personally identifiable and non-sensitive information from the users of the services through our Website and Call Center, for purposes of processing, monitoring, updating, modification, cancellation and confirmation of the services booked with Ancila Tours. The type of information requested from users of the services includes, but is not limited to, name or company name, e-mail address, address, zip code, date of birth, country of origin, office or cell phones, diving certification number (if you have one), Federal Taxpayer Registry, credit and/or debit card information and additional important information for the reservation and payment process, data that is necessary to carry out the normal activity of the service. The information related to your credit and/or debit card is used exclusively at the time the services offered by Ancila Tours are contracted.

The owner of the data, when registering, gives his consent in a free, specific, informed and unequivocal manner to provide the personal data that may be required, with the understanding that if the user decides not to provide the mandatory information, he will not be able to access the services that effectively require such information. However, he will be able to access all the services offered by Ancila Tours.

We also collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us in this way, aggregate information on which pages you visit, as well as any other information you voluntarily provide to us, such as information related to surveys or registrations on the site.

In case you provide us with your telephone number, we will only contact you by this means in case of reservation changes or questions related to the payment process.

The personal information that you provide us as a user of our Website and Call Center must be truthful and correspond to your current situation. Such information will be treated in accordance with the principles set forth in the laws incorporated in this privacy notice.

DATA TRANSFER

Personal data may be transferred and/or shared to business partners, affiliates, suppliers, financial, banking and credit institutions, subsidiaries, subsidiaries, subsidiaries, affiliates and third parties, such as hotels, leasing companies, airlines, tour providers, etc., for marketing purposes, to confirm reservations and in general to comply with the obligations contracted with the user or User-Tourist.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE USE OF BANK CARD INFORMATION

Ancila Tours is committed to respecting the privacy of all its User-Tourists, and in the case of this page, all those who make reservations online or through the Call Center. To ensure the security of your online transactions, we use an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate on our website, which protects the data you send from your browser to our site and database. All information related to your credit card transactions is encrypted, thus safeguarding your privacy and security.

All information provided by the User-Tourists to Ancila Tours, such as name, address, email, telephone and other information about the reservation during the online payment processes, will be treated as strictly confidential, unless otherwise specified to the User-Tourists.

USE OF "COOKIES" AND "IP ADDRESSES".

The Ancila Tours data server will send data to the User's browser to be stored on the hard drive of the User's computer. This allows us to identify the computers used by Users when accessing our Portal. This process is known as the use of "cookies" or "IP addresses", by using "cookies" or "IP addresses". Through this process, Ancila Tours can offer a more personalized service to its Users since it allows us, among other things, to publish advertising and promotional campaigns, measure the size of our audience and the flow of traffic on the different sites that the User visits.   • • Rectification in case they are inaccurate, incorrect or outdated.
  • • Cancellation consists in the elimination of your personal data when you consider that they are not being used for the fulfillment of the purposes established in this Privacy Notice.
  • • Opposition to the processing of your personal data with respect to any of the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice.

You have the right to revoke the consent granted for the processing of your personal data, in order to stop using them, you may also revoke your consent to receive promotions and offers by telephone or email.

To exercise your ARCO Rights or your right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data, you must submit your respective request in writing and in Spanish, and you must send it to Ancila Tours through the following email: marketing@ancilatours.com; or send your written request by mail, courier or hand delivery to the Web Development Department, located at BOULEVARD KUKULCAN SECTION A-11, LOT 72, HOTEL ZONE, BENITO JUÁREZ, QUINTANA ROO.

Your written request must indicate your full name with surnames, attach a simple copy of your official identification; indicate your email or physical address you designate for notifications and a contact telephone number.

Ancila Tours will follow up on your request within 15 business days from the receipt of such request with complete documentation, to communicate whether or not such request proceeded, informing its rectification, take the necessary steps for the cancellation of your personal data, or terminate the use of them.

LAWS INCORPORATED IN THIS NOTICE

  • • The LFPDPPP (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares) which is the law in charge of protecting personal data in Mexico.
  • • The GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data) which is the new European Union regulation for the regulation of the processing of personal data.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE PRIVACY NOTICE

Ancila Tours reserves the right to modify or update all or part of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice, to address legislative developments, internal policies or new requirements for the provision or offering of our services or products. These modifications will be available to the public on our website.

If the user considers that the protection of his/her personal data has been violated, he/she is free to contact INAI.
